Because the more I try, the dirtier it looks. I want to be all shiny and new again. I only got it on xmas eve and it's terrible.

hob-brite

It's fantastic, you should be able to find it in most supermarkets.

minkeymonkeymoo · 12/01/2010 13:18

Yep, I second Hob-brite too! I got one between Christms and NY and was devastated by the marks on it. My husband told me that I can only use washing up liquid (as it says on the instructions) but I saw this in Tesco and sneaked it into my basket. The hob has come up like new with no effort. Fabulous!

My Mum loves Hob brite, she can't use it enough. She has a ceramic hob in her holiday home and cleans it everyday with Hob brite. She's left instructions for anyone else who stays there about the blasted Hob brite. She barely cleans anything else though, ever!

I just use ordinary surface spray on my hob, perhaps I don't care enough? Oh well

I use washing-up liquid, rinsed off and polished with an e-cloth. Works every time

I used a cream cleaner one - can't remember which one unfortunately - and it was brill, really clean and shiny, except it also removed the labels. Now I have to guess which burner relates to which switch. Was really clean though!

Yep, Hob Brite is amazing stuff

Also, a quick squirt of Glass Cleaner spray wiped off with kitchen towel is fab in between uses.

ShinyAndNew · 13/01/2010 11:04

Hob brite would by the same people who make 'shiny sinks' yes? I heart 'shiny sinks'. It didn't even occur to em to buy hob brite though. Thanks. I'll get some today.
