I having one of those days too. I would sort recycling out first then chickens......

mowcop · 11/01/2010 13:23

sounds like my life. I would just stay on here and then panic later (which is my basic plan of attack)

Lotkinsgonecurly · 11/01/2010 13:25

God, me too. Am not sure the cleaners will make it today, may have to do it myself!

Oh god, on top of all the other things that need doing.

Washing machine broken, snowed in so washing machine repair man probably not coming.

You could try the 40 20 rule. You do something for 40 mins and then spend 20 mins admiring it with a cup of tea!

ditavonteesed · 11/01/2010 13:28

that is my idea of a nightmare, we would be buried in washing after 2 days, we are however buried in rubbish at the moment as bin men not been since boxing day.

Ive got loads to do to. Unfortunately I can't do most of it as we have no water (pipes are frozen!). So i have a half washed load of washing in the machine which is starting to smell, loads of dirty pots as can't wash up/use dishwasher, a pile of washing waiting to be done, a bathroom that needs cleaning.....I could go on and on!

I can't even have a shower or put the heating on .

I suppose I could do some ironing .

ditavonteesed · 11/01/2010 13:34

might warm you up, thats seriusly crap.
I have pout the washing away now, know I need to do the chooks but putting it off as nowhere to put the dirty bedding.

itshappenedagain · 11/01/2010 15:04

about to get shoes on and go and collect Ds from nursery as takes much longer in the sodding ice and snow, really need to put the bin bag out but will hjave to be done when i get back.

Lotkinsgonecurly · 11/01/2010 15:48

Can you not throw bedding for chickens over into field / next doors fence and then bury under load of snow and deny all knowledge about it? Or is that just creating work.....
