Educational stuff...Building a brio style train set. I suppose we could talk about magnets well it keeps him away from the PS3

built by watching Top Gear on Dave!

It is very busy on here today. No time for individuals, will BBL, DS and DD waiting to watch I Can cook on iPlayer, they want to make a banana loaf they have seen on there so we need to rewatch it!
School closed again, announcement didn't happen til 8.45 on radio, how rubbish is that! I'm lucky that I have no childcare issue but did have to cancel my 9.30 swimming lesson at 8.45, which I felt was terrible to the teacher, luckily she hadn't set off. Anyway, DD was very fed up as she had her first day at nursery today and obviously we were all in our uniform etc at that time.
ho hom
Right off to do the banana bread thing

Wendy Hi it sounds like a manic day.
After school club looks good & they have breakfast club. Hurrah! Can now get to work at a reasonable time! (really I want to work at John Lewis's from 10am-2pm! but can't afford to!) So lovely Mum is watching Telly with Ds for a bit. Have to go back to giving him homework, they don't set any at this school as he was doing so well with the drip, drip effect.
You've reminded me must order more uniform. Little bear is growing so fast that I also need to buy some casual stuff too. Met with LB's friend's Mum & he has been invited to his first party. Yippe! Great opportunity to meet-up. Must be on my best behaviour.
Now need to buy two presents (mate's son too)
Now for some chores

I am a lot better, he is just growing up and like Maxi he is far to clever. blogging about it helps get it all out.

Also I have been and got some more white cotton and needles from the village store

We are watching inside out and there was a little old man on from Teesdale, who doesnt have mains electric and relys in a generator and coal. We dont know we are born nowadays.

Sorry for scaring everyone. Things have just been getting on top of me

Just hanging out an express load of washing, ds1's school trousers

But have been loving the TV tonight, Glee was on, dh told me to watch it and not to do the washing up - we watched two episodes - I was enthralled.

Afternoon and evening very busy.
Nearly driven mad by homework again, researching {WITHOUT WARNING] with two truculent 7 year olds is not my idea of fun. And then fractions [aargh - ds1 was crying]

Then Cubs I walked there with 4 kids, only to find they had decided to call if off because of burst pipe. So then we walked home again [well, not so bad a way to spend the evenng I suppose - more exercise had by all All this took from 6.10 to 7.45 as I had to drop someone home again.

Anyway feeling happy now, loads of outdoors today, resisted snacks, enjoyed supper

TM - I read your blog, and just thought [hug] It is not you, it is just the way children feel when they don't want to do things. I have felt everythng you are feeling. I think it helped when my mother said I was like that (occasionally - she was quite tactful), it made me realise what it was like to be the raging child.
