I am SO happy. It is AMAZING .

I honestly don't know how we managed without it, after years in a small flat with a constantly huuuuge laundry mountain.

we have still fairly new tumble dryer. Thank god I thought I was the only one on the planet that didn't have one. me too in a flat, such a godsend, but dp thinks it is an ornament only to be used occasionally so don't dry any of his stuff.

towels come out a dream.

I love my tumble drier, it even has a little light inside so you can see what you are taking out of the drum. I tumble dry clothes all the time, it is the only way I can stay on top of the washing.

I did more washing yesterday afternoon than I would normally manage in three days. I used to spend ages each evening carefully snapping creases out of each garment and tacitically hanging everything up from kitchen pulley/airing rack in a space-saving manner, after which if we were lucky it would be dry in 24 hours. And we would then have to drape some bits on radiators to finish them off properly. Was massively time-consuming!

Mine has a light too

I love my tumble drier too. It's the second White Knight we've had in 28 years. This one slightly different in that it tumbles both forwards and backwards so creasing clothes less and it has high and low settings. I really don't know how people manage without one. How do you dry towels, sheets, duvets without one? I try to use it as little as possible but it is vital in a country as wet as this. Dog bedding, fleece blankets. When my sons were little and wetting beds or sick and vomiting.

I feel the same about my brand new washer dryer. Lovely lovely lovely

Yes it's a very satisfying feeling isn't it. We have too much washing to have a washer drier. I need to be washing another load whilst drying the previous one but you do need some way of drying. How on earth did our mothers manage with no washing machines or twin tubs?
