Morning Wolf Hope you had a good christmas Mrs

We are up and dressed and are off out for the day, possibly to York, although Mum has rung up saying she is very ill, not sure what she wants me to do about it.

DH is being a star, letting me have lots of lie ins.

Wolfcub · 30/12/2009 09:34

Hi tea have a lovely time in York. I am going to try and bribe dp for a lie in tomorrow. I've been trying to let him have some rest but I am absolutely shattered so I think I definitely need a turn.

done
wm unloaded reloaded and on
wet washing hung up
small amount of washing that actually got dry has been folded
ordered a few bits from organised mum
I'm currently helping ds build a train track
sorted billing nonsense out with electric company
quick tidy in kitchen - need to clean it though

Thanks for the thread Wolfcub

DONE
some washingup
kerbside rubbish out
recycling out
some laundry folded and away

I've just come back from physio appt with ds1. He is doing well, and can walk v. slowly alone now - albeit with a bit of a waddle - think he'll be back to school in a week - that's a bit unexpected but good news. He says he wants to be very confident without the single crutch before he ventures back into maelstrom.

Organised mum I have a diary but otherwise seem to survive jsutabout. Need to tackle addresses, mobile phone issues, dates in the diary more than anythng this year.

It is a hideous rainy day - glad I don't have to go out again...

Dcs have a friend (or two) here - dd is doling out crisps - hope they'll work out how to play Cluedo now.

Dh is now going out for a break

TO DO
casserole for supper
supervise vaguely
grownup to tea
top up phone
ring bank
ring AA (still raining too hard for them to do much though ...will wait till afternoon)
lunch is sausages and pasta

Enjoy York TM

How do all

The bank refused to accept my CRB form as identity and want a driving licence or valid passport or a utility bill. I don't drive or travel and all bills are online, ergo I'm a non person

DH has been out and come back with a hdtv front room all higgley now. I just emptied DW, put it away and shined the sink. Feel better about that now

Power Crystals are things in Lego Power Miners. They are taking over the house. I've even been building it

scattyspice · 30/12/2009 14:22

Oh no Grouchy! Pesky bank .

I am of all the shopping trips (my credit card it itching, but i'm resisting).

Been to aquarium this morn (our 2nd home) and met 2 old friends and their lovely baby . Called in at Tesco on the way home and Dc spent their Xmas money.

Ds is now writting thank you letters wearing his new Dr Who glasses LOL. DD wants to do more crafts (groan).

List:
Hairdressers - appt made
Thank you letters - DS doing
sort camera - done
laundry - rebooted

BBL

swanriver · 30/12/2009 14:33

Soothing fish Scatty - I suspect Dr Who is the sort of man who does write thankyou letters anyway
Dd has gone to play down the road
dh has taken ds2 out for a run
giving me strict instructions to have a nap before our next guest
He has bought lots of M & S instant food for NY and clearly has had enough of homecooking
Grouchy - yes identity is a tricky one

House is v. v messy here...don't care as long as children and mess don't run concurrently...

ImdreamingofaGROUCHYxmas · 30/12/2009 17:16

Hello again

Just had a smashing afternoon with Wolf and littleWolf. I'm really happy now.

Plus Mary Poppins is on.

dug out a letter from the DWP, 3 letters from other banks and one re my pension (from the same bank as I'm ex staff )mind you, if they don't view a CRB check as valid I think we're all in a pickle.

Anyhoo, hope your having great days

Wolfcub · 30/12/2009 19:10

swan I have the diary but have fallen out with it since they redesigned it this year. So I have treated myself to their little bird one to see if it is any better. I was so cross that they took lots of the useful bits out of the organised mum one. Grrr. great news about your ds being able to go back to school.

had a lovely afternoon cuddling grouchy's ds. I have to say she is looking damn good too and it was great to have a good chat and a chill out with a lovely friend.

hello to ruby, scatty and greyskull

just about to dish up quiche for tea, dp is threatening to put brown sauce on it. I may well kill him.

Hello to all. I used to have that problem a bit, too, grouchy. Luckily I have a driving licence with my address on and a valid passport so I can usually get away with id stuff.

Just a quickie from me.

Done:-
~ took dd to town to catch her bus
~ took coins into bank to pay in
~ returned some unwanted gifts that ds (bless him!) bought for dh, dd and I. Dh and I are going to give him the money back as he spent too much imo. Dd wants to keep the value of her present!
~ did food shopping
~ filled car up with petrol
~ dropped envelope off at someone's house as a favour for ds
~ kitchen stuff
~ laundry stuff
~ dried and brushed dog so she looks really fluffy now
~ made a scratch tea
~ drank 2 glasses of wine at tea time - whoops!

To do:-
~ some more family history so I can take it with me tomorrow
~ maybe some ironing

Will catch up with you either tomorrow or else in a couple of days. Hope all have a good New Year!
