things to chuck out today

I'll start the list then with....

Children's non-spill lidded paint pots - I have 12! In reality it's much easier to dispense small amounts of paint into those plastic trays you get in cake boxes and let them paint at the table - so that gets rid of easels too!

Tea-lights and their holders - have just put the candle in the bin and the glass holder for recycling - it has been sitting on my kitchen window-sill for several years.

Paperback books which have been read and which could be bought again if there are cries of protest from the family!

....the glitter glues and fabric paints have gone..l. I'm on a roll! Anyone else - or are you all too busy with the sherry and mince pies, unlike sad me!

......thinking of starting a new thread for the saddest clutter clearing out - have just scraped remains of old marmite pot into the one actually being used as I couldn't bear to throw away a pot with some left in it!

I am frankly amazed at you decluttering on Christmas Eve allthatglitters! so well done to you!

I have masses of decluttering to do, and I really like your thinking on the painting stuff. I have a whole sideboard cupboard full of paints thta could be cleared out, so thanks for the inspiration!

I can understand the marmite thing- although I tend to use mine up by making soups

I have a major declutter coming up - just too tired out from Christmas to actually get off the couch and start sorting

I have just declutter DS huge walk-in bedroom cupboard which he couldn't close the door on because it was so full!! Half a dozen lightsabres are gone, and three board games with missing pieces.

Trying to sneak them in the bin before he spots me!!
