Like I say, on Saturday we were at a wedding, dh got bumped and spilt red wine all over his pale linen suit. He has only just fessed up so the wine is pretty dried in.

Is there any way I can get this out?

I've heard if you ryb salt into it and leave it then it absorbs the red wine
Be easy on him, it's not his fault

I've recently read that salt only soaks up the wine, so if it's dried in it probably won't help. Soda water might do the trick though, or you could try white wine.

Ditch the suit

Pale linen in Winter?

Madness

You could tie dye it

Pale linen in summer actually, we are overseas. Lovely 30 degree wedding.

Will try the white whine. Do you think dry cleaning would help?

I like the idea of tie dying, it's probably gonna be that or rags.

Not being hard on him, it wasn't his fault. Drunken people careering off the dance floor. Hrumph

See, if I know I will be drinking red wine I try not to wear white as I often come home with all manner of things spread across my clothes
