our Beko one refused to die. It lived so long I was sick of it and just replaced it with a larder fridge.
Beko is well cheap and does seem to last forever imo

thanks whoops.
I have smeg envy (doesn't sound very nice does it?) but a Beko budget so will take a look.

Beko very roomy inside, does the job. Ours survived 4 moves in 6 years!

We have a chest freezer which I hate but DH has agreed to getting me a freezer with drawers in the new year.

I would also recommend Beko.

15 years ago it was the only fridge and freezer we could afford and we bought both with the knowledge that as soon as they broke we would buy "better" ones. I sent 15 years waiting for them to break down! We gave up in August and bought a new much larger fridge/freezer - with 5dc we needed something bigger, but the Bekos had never stopped working. Now have a Beko dishwasher/washing machine and tumbler.

ah Fab- I hope you get your 'freezer with draws' wish!

lots of support for beko then.
