Ruby I read that as DH making dinner with Ipod - I was very impressed (and confused)

No party here due to snow so had a nice afternoon in instead.

JUst about to start my next Assignment in the vague hope of getting it done before xmas.

make some mince pies and choc mints for gifts

A best friend of mine, who is wonderful, just gave me her gifts to me - very expensive stuff for both me and DH! Eek, last min shopping by me tomorrow!

Been ironing all Ed's clothes, old and current and putting them away. Hey, Ironing nakes them smaller and organised!

No plans for tomorrow cept getting a spare gift for oue neice. Home blessing and baking it is

Hi all,
we've had a very successful day.
Food for christmas arrived first thing Dh extremely impressed by my organisation.

Brother's visit went well, he liked the gnocchi (but not that interested in the kids though
Parents' supper visit even better, stirfried sprouts, roast chicken and stuffed mushrooms [yum] - my mum had a happy hour after supper being shown how to use Youtube - we looked up about five versions of I Dreamt I Dwelt in Marble Halls - and my poor Dad fell asleep in his coffee. Children danced to Abba.
Took all three dcs to Church in morning hairraising stuff as they insisted on sliding on every ice slip they could find.
Did lots of knitting, but my scarf is so good that I thought I would just make it a bit longer before giving it to Mum so will post it for New Year, (have given her an interim present)

House is untidy, but workable. Dh has washed up two meals, which is very relaxing
Dcs only a bit out of control today - not surprising really. Tomorrow - long walk.

Re-reading my message, it sounds entirely about food - it was successful visit because it was lovely chatting to the PEOPLE.

Good evening everyone. I've just realised the time! Dh isn't in bed and he (unlike me) has work tomorrow.

swan My nightmares are terrible nonsense with a tiny bit of something from real life i.e. if I see someone I haven't seen for ages, then they'll pop up in that night's nightmare. As I'm not currently working I don't think I should be buying from Boden. Dotty P's (Dorothy Perkins) will do for me.

I've spent some time this evening trying to clean some ornaments and jewellery I've been given and trying to work out if they are silver or silver plate. They're cleaner but I'm still none the wiser! I've also mislaid my glasses so I'm wearing my old ones. I put my contacts in to go swimming and so put glasses in a case and now they've vamooshed!
