Help! Any remedies? My FAAAAAAAAAVOURITE jeans!!

first stop, either Vanish stick or washing up liquid - wet stain, rub in, wash as normal

if that doesn't work eg it is bike chain grease rather than butter, you need De-Solve-It (from by the Vanish etc in Tesco). Stinks of oranges but works.

My MiL swears by washing up liquid, which tbh has worked everytime for me too.

The Stain Devils grease remover is the thing that I've found works best. Better than washing up liquid, and even gets out chicken grease stains.

I always use washing up liquid on greasy food stains...works a treat.

Thank you all! Will start with the washing up liquid it's on hand and it seems urgent (you must know what I mean - so hard to find the right pair of jeans!). Fingers crossed...
