What do you do with the ash from your fire`

Just got a multi fuel stove (just in time for this weather!) but whats the best thing to do with the left over ash. Is it good for the garden? Do you just chuck it int he bin once cooled down?

Any ideas?

Compost bin - it's fab for the garden (esp Roses)

Woodash is fine for the garden.Don't use coal ash though.

We mainly use wood but the last couple of nights have used coal as ran out of wood and refuse to buy that from the garage as its always wet!

Any uses for coal ash?
