smelly washing machine

my machine is old but still works pretty well, howver its started to smell, any ideas how to get rid of the stink?

hot wash bio powder or white vinegar

I'd run it with no clothes in on the hottest cycle with washing soda crystals - I do this periodically anyway to give mine a good clean.

put some vinegar in the machine and do a hot wash , try rinsing out the filter too.

um where do i find the filter? and how much in thew way of soda crystals or vinegar do i use?

Usually says on the packet - that is one of the reccommended uses. I just fill the detergent drawer in the usual way. (what a festive task
