Feel rotten today I have a cold and a dicky tummy. Hope to feel better before I go to Little Star's nativity play. Sorry I haven't kept a breast of what is going on. It's so bad that I only noticed today that I haven't put the recycling out on Tuesday This will mean a trip in the car with stinky food!!!!tomorrow. I'm off to make the beds and have a shower, that how bad I've been haven't showered before taking Ds to school!

You've inspired me StAnne - I'm going to make the rumpled {but lovely and clean]beds - never normally do this

Sink is cleanish and I'm dressed though.
Poor ds1 is not fit to go out, with a horrid cough, and sore chest. It is very cold here, but miserable rather than winterwonderland as snow has melted..

Dcs of course went to school in their lightest tightest disco wear - had to force them to put jumpers over the top.
Another late night last night for dcs from second showing of yr 3 & 5 production at 7.00 so I think we are all heading for hibernation after this...
Bookclub Xmas night was well worth it though - charming house with white sofas, candles, duck with orange sauce, choc roulade and all the ladies in good form.

Now need to
cancel MOT as can't take ds out think have a week's leeway
dw and reload
last pot in the sink
wash kitchen floor
wash hall floor
hoover stairs
beds
move round furniture in playroom for piano del on friday
read ds a chapter of Inkspell
might do that second....
piano practice
leg exercises x @9am, 1 & 5 & 8.30 for ds

Christmas LIST TO DO

Go to a photo booth & get a photo of DH and myself for DH's wallet.
Buy dinner for today & tomorrow. Stir-fry tonight. Shepherds pie tomorrow

swanriver · 17/12/2009 13:37

StAnne, I find I can never predict how I will feel at these school productions, proud, embarrassed, worried (or sometimes just peeved that my genius child has such a small part . When I least expect it, that's when tears come into my eyes. You were probably putting your feelings on hold because you know he is leaving.

swanriver · 17/12/2009 15:52

Those little wretches...

First dd complains there is no popcorn in her partysnack bag, soo I buy some popcorn for hometime - then she complains it is the wrong sort - when I have brought BOTH sorts.
Then ds2 is discovered to have worn his yoghurt stained jumper over the top of his special disco outfit for the entire disco, not having bothered to take it off
Then dd tells me my homemade wreath is boring when I was rather proud of myself for having made it out of red rags and bits of dead hydrangea.

still I have GIVEN HALF THE TEACHERS THEIR PRESENTS AND CARDS!!!!

leothelioness · 17/12/2009 17:49

Hi
ok so far not doing too well today the last minute perents got delayed until tomorrow as I counld not face hunting for pressies with a sore back.
It is feeling better now but still stiff.

Tea I hope the painkillers are working but make sure you don't over do it while the painkillers are working and make it worse (I have done this before)
OFM glad you dd is better
swan isn't it classic that kids always want what things that you don't have and the minute you get it they find something else to complain about.

swan your dd...sounds exactly like what my DD1 would do...and your DS...EXACTLY what me ds1 would - and has - do/done LOL
Yay for teachers presents though...This year our school has requested a donation to school charity rather than gifts...which I think is an EXCELLENT idea (although slighty miffed as I already had several things purchased and stashed LOL)

leo a nice warm bath and early night sounds like what you need. Hope back all better tomorrow

TM thanks for email

ok...so have survived another day! Am making progress with the washing mountain...yay
And havenow wrapped all presents for: DS1,DD1,DD2,DD3,DD4 yay! just got ds2 to do...tomorrow maybe? And finish hampers for other folks...but have to wait to add homemade yummies and alcohol (to be bought with £25 Morrisons voucher LOL)

My aim is to have as much as possible sorted before holidays start so I can relax a bit and actually enjoy holidays withDC....we'll see LOL

Havehadsmall fluttering of snow which was met with shreiks of excitement by DC LOL
Supremelyglad I remembered to buynew wellies for DD1 whilst shopping today
