Getting a stain out of a silk top ?

I bought a lovely top from Coast, wore it to my work's xmas do and split gravy on it!

I never normally buy anything of such a delicate fabric, especially something that is handwash only!

Help!

eucalyptus oil works well for removing oily stains. i think you can use it on silk, just dab at the stain and then handwash immediately.

maybe have a quick google to check it is suitable for silk. good luck!
