I have two floorstanding uplighters, neither of which are working. One (hardly used) stopped working about a year after we were given it as a wedding present, and that was 6 years ago! The other was used regularly but then the humming noise got louder every time it was on (both lights have dimmer switches) and it finally gave up the ghost a couple of years ago.
Now that we've moved house I'd really like to bring these lights back into active service! I've tried sourcing spare parts, without success (only available to buy as a bulk order by retailers, and no-one stocks them), and the manufacturers won't deal with domestic/individual enquiries.
Can anyone suggest where I can find someone to fix my lights before I resort to replacing them?
