I know there area lot of Bissell people out there, I've been here before to ask advise

I had a Bissell Powerwash Proheat 2 which was great at cleaning the carpets, but very big and heavy and very sensitive to everything(3 out of 5 times it wouldn't work because of some minor detail, very annoying), so I sold it and bought a neat little Quickwash 2. The Quickwash has a tiny tank so needs emptying constantly, and it doesn't have any atachments so I can't clean the stairs with it.
I also have a steam cleaner which I intended for the stairs but that doesn't do much at all, so really need some advise now please.

So please let me know what's good. I was looking at Bissells website and thinking of getting a reconditioned Powerwash pro, any good?

What do you use on your stairs? With my old Powerwash Proheat I found the attachments didn't clean all that well, or maybe that was just because it was a bit old and maybe something wrong with it????

Oh, and obviously, I'm on a bit of a budget, with christmas and DS1's birthday coming up withing the next few weeks
