Just taking my dh a cup of tea

Hello again all. Well, the kitchen is now looking a lot better. I had to clear the Christmas card stuff away in order for us to have the table to eat lunch and now I think I'll get the stuff out again and do some more before I have to stop for tea time at 6pm. Alternatively, I could clear the clutter from the dining table and write the cards there! [hmmmmm] Right. I've finished my cup of coffee so I'd better get back to it!

Oh overflowing, could you take my dog with you to the classes? I was just saying this morning that she should have gone to them when she was little and perhaps a bit less stubborn (she's just like her Dad is!) than she is now.

Bulbs at last planted in beautiful neat pots, cats deterred (holly), and front path swept as the light failed.
Also distributed some horrid mouldering leaf mould onto flowerbeds.

Now internet shopping as they are all watching telly..

How do everyone

I have been productive in the past 24 hrs. Last night I was about to get into bed when I notice the new cat had weeed on the bed ! All the way through a thick king size quilt. So some quick bed stripping, loading of duvet into WM and digging out a spare quilt from the attic. This morning I got up, rebooted the WM and did some rejigging of washing on the clothes horse to make space for KS duvet and covers and sheets. Lots of WM and TD loading and unloading today

Apart from speedy laundry I've also

Emptied DW
Put away
cleaned downstairs glass inc TV screen
Helped DH tidy the front room - lots of clutter clearing there
Vac front room
Help Ed do a jigsaw he never chooses to do them
Ironing
Sort out and put away clothes
Uniform out for tommorrow
Lunchboxes made
check for head pets (we're clear )

I've had a long bath and done some decluttering and FLYing on me,body scrub and moisturiser, facial etc. I feel great for it.

Lancashire hotpot and sticky toffee pud in the oven. I think today will end up being calm and relaxing, you watch something spoil it

swan what was the cake recipe? I have a jar of cherry jam none of us like it, would love recipe to put it in a cake?!
Simply keep on going with those Xmas cards. I'm quick at them, did just over 100 including the usual notes on the opposite side, in just under 2 hours watching TV!
night out at friends' was a bit of a disaster. One friend went home at 10 pm with a stomach upset. I got a migraine! Made it home about 12.30. Spent an hour wailing in front of the toilet until I finally threw up everything. All on only 3 glasses of wine. DH had 5 pints of beer which is a lot for him so has been feeling under the weather today too. Went for lunch at MIL's and I have entertained the children this afternoon. We have made a weetabix loaf (yummy new recipe like a tea loaf) and painted and glittered pine cones. Very relaxing. Creamy cheesey pasta for tea.
Well, going to watch last night's trashy telly tonight - Strictly and X Factor and tonight's results and do some slobbing on sofa - don't think I've done any of that since last Sunday!

Evening all
busy weekend. Went to York yesterday and have been doing jobs and massive shop today. Have vaccumed sitting room staircase and all the much webs on the ceiling in the living room. Have cleaned about 50% of the kitchen and have cleaned the inside of the fridge.
Wedding invites are all finished. Wedding not until may but absolutely nothing else done for it.

Morning all A little worse for wear but the show must go on....
