I'm being bitten... could it be fleas?

Over the past fortnight I have got about 100 bites. Incredibly itchy bites. I now have scabs all over me, predominantly on my ankles, wrists, hands and feet, but also on other areas.

I don't have any pets, and put it down to visiting my friend's cats, but I am still getting new itchy spots, and haven't seen them for a day or so.

I did have my sister's dog to stay a few weeks ago. He doesn't seem to have fleas though. Could this be the cause?

What do I do? Some sort of fumigation? Where do I buy it from. Please help!

are the bites in clusters (mainly of 3s)? if so, may be bed bugs I'm afraid. try a fumigator (think you can get them from supermarket or some hardware stores) to rule out fleas, and check your mattress underside (particularly in the stitching) for black specks and evidence of bugs.

Not really in clusters, except round ankles. Lots of random ones though. Our mattress is only about 6 months old.. could it have bed bugs already? Will check tomorrow.

Will search out fumigation device tomorrow too!
