Can anyone recommend their washing machine?

Mine has just bitten the dust. They only seem to last about 4 years for me so I wanted to find out if anyone has one that lasted longer.

Don't need any exciting features except a 30 degree/handwash setting.

Am so annoyed its before Xmas as I don't think I can wait for the sale with 1-2 loads a day.

are they lot more expensive than normal one? (Obviously worth it in the long run if it lasts for twice as long!)

Will go and google

We have a Beko WME8227W - love it.

My Whirlpool packed up 2 days ago, and the repair guy said it was knackered, only had it for 3 yrs and it was the worst I have ever bought! Loads of people have said Miele and I think I am going to bite the bullet and get one, the cheapest one is about £680 but everyone who I know who has one loves it, and they don't seem to eat small socks which all my other washing machines have done! Our current machine is the 4th I have had in 11 yrs, so I think now is the time to invest in a decent one! Good Luck with your search!

thanks everyone. Mine was a whirlpool too. A friend also recommended a John Lewis machine. I think they are made by AEG or Zanussi.

So many decisions.... I would love a miele but am so broke at the moment.

I wonder if those calgon type things protect really protect yr machine. we live in a hard water area.
