Has search gone kaput again? I'm looking for threads on that perennial favourite - playdoh and carpets - but not much joy

So at risk of offending you oldies who have seen this a gazillion times before ...

does anyone know how to tackle this? Tis a short pile carpet.

let it dry, brush a lot with stiff brush, vacuum, repeat. When it's gone, carpet shampoo if there's a colour mark.

Ooooo I did get a reply! Thanks Roma, will try it. Don't have a stiff carpet cleaning brush - think I'm going to have a go at it with an old nailbrush. Thanks for the tip.

That's what we did. Only it took me a year to get round to it by which time the purple playdoh had leached the blue out of the carpet and we now have a grey patch where it was . So don't avoid sorting it out fairly promptly!!
