Afternoon all

Sneaking back, not even made it onto the wagon.
Swine flu and general incompetence has waylaid my christmas planning and housework.
Will return when some babysteps of housework (inbetween coughing) have been completed:

Have a good day everyone
BBL

TeaMonster · 01/12/2009 13:48

Hello again

Welcome back all

Advent is well and truly here come look at what I made

I am just catching up after bloody electricity cut, it went out again when me and minimad were at Toddlers.

Bianca I changed as a used to be friend was reading!!!

swanriver · 01/12/2009 14:38

Back from physio with ds1, totally knackered but managed to sneak in a few stocking fillers whilst ds's back was turned at WHSMith. He is getting better at the crutches so that is very good.
We had a Mcdonalds to cheer ourselves up, it was so very cold, chips were the only solution
Now for some reason I feel much hungrier and tireder than when I had less lunch, which just goes to show, sugar high, sugar low
Cuppa of tea, now and no biscuit [stern]

OverflowingFestiveMum · 01/12/2009 14:50

List:
buy bread
DC to gymnastics

OP posts:
swanriver · 01/12/2009 17:42

OFM that is Warp Factor 9 - not a list Fantastic - and when he steps over the Christmas Welcome Mat his heart will melt

I am hiding behind the new partition, surrounded by mess, about to put some Morrison's garlic bread in the oven

With considerable ill-humour (mine) and joie de vivre (them)I have managed to get my dcs to make glitter and glue cards for their Dad's birthday on 5th, do a journal of last weekend's activities, (airbrushing the amount of tellywatched from their account)for homework
& stopped them watching telly till 5.00pm despite serious meltdowns from ds1

We have chocolate...[Fairtrade]...Advent calendars...provided by the Church on Sunday, and grandma sent a beautiful Bear's House one too.

Now I need to do a megablitz
supper
table
find a bit of paperwork which is lost

wendyhappysmile · 01/12/2009 19:13

Love that, swan - megablitz - think I'll adopt that one.

Done
Toddlers
Home bargains
Next to change stuff and buy stuff
Tea
glitter on xmas cards with dc
dd to bed

Am feeling fat and frumpy so envy your run, leo - need to lose the 5 lbs I've put back on in last month!
Must dash, see you all tomorrow.

Simply · 01/12/2009 19:13

Hello to all. I've been out for a large chunk of the day at the Winter Fair at the Royal Welsh Showground in Builth Wells. It was cold but dry and we (dh & I) were able to get around easily to see everything we wanted to. I had hoped to buy some more hamper items but I expect that when I take a look at my box of goodies tomorrow, I'll find I almost have enough already. There will be another Farmers' Market in town before Christmas so I'll be able to get more there.

Anyway...I'll sign off now and join in properly tomorrow. Welcome to any newbies and old regulars. Good to see you one and all!

Evening all TM your skills. I would love to do stuff like that.
Sorry can't stay & chat as I've got soup to blitz & freeze
a phone to fix
& MORE bloody laundry to fold. & other bits & bobs before bed time but I'm not going to beat my self up over it.
I'm a little sad as I wanted to have Kelly's Super Holiday missions I didn't do all of the last lot but I just liked reading it like a advent calendar of it own just spent 10 mins looking for it maybe She'll start it next Monday.
Hope every one has bed socks as its brr over here. Okay leo you don't have to wear them See ya

swanriver · 01/12/2009 22:24

More positive dones this eve

washed up a lot of things
unloaded veg box
put out recylcling
multiplication with ds1
lots of room rescuing (won't last long
found lost paperwork
MY HOLIDAY MISSION: yes now have three clean folded dishcloths in designated drawer (only five drawers in whole kitchen..sad)

Starbear - there is a holiday Cruising mission on Flylady I think, because the fledgling flyers are doing one - 15 mins putting up a few decs eh? Does a light dusting of glitter over entire kitchen count?
Ruby - it was saving itself from the elves
Simply - perhaps I could escape from family Christmas in a large hamper
Simply/Starbear - mark 2. Still no snacks today (well apart from the chips which were lunch I am eating my way through handfuls of raw veg and blueberries now though.

Shannara, Bianca and Bella, hope today was as you wanted it to be.

Starbear · 01/12/2009 22:57

OOOO! I'll look over there then ta!
