How the hell can I get limescale off my bathroom taps?
I live in a very hard water area and they are driving me demented( sad I know) I've tried numerous things none of which seem to work.
Any tips gratefully recieved. TIA

I used to cut a lemon in quarters, then sort of pin it with a cocktail stick over the tap so the end of the tap was pushed into the lemon. I'd leave it on for 1/2 an hour then check, it should loosen the lime scale.

Sounds totally mad, I know.

We moved house, to a soft water area - bliss

What even the limescale removers that you pour on and leave?? I find these pretty good.

Other than that I have no idea, would be interested in seeing if there are any natural remedies out there?

Vinegar (I use cheap malt vinegar) on cotton wool then wrap it around the tap leave for a couple of hours. You may need to do it a few times to get it all off. You can put a plastic bag over the cotton wool to keep it from drying out, although I don't bother.

Thank you all for your answers , I will try the natural remedies ,as I have used the chemical stuff . It always just drips off the tap end anyway.
Ixia- I know what you mean , we moved here from the north of Scotland ,the water doesn't get much softer than there. Its enough to make me want to move back to the cold
