How can I get a faint white mark off a black satin dress?

Any ideas?

Have you got a fairly dense sponge? I have a sponge thing called a Gal-Pal (I got mine from Lakeland)It's brilliant at getting white marks off but it's really just a sponge with a dense texture - maybe a dry baby sponge?

What about permanant marker pen? Instead of battling to get rid of it.

God I do love Lakeland, had never seen one of those. I'll give that a go. Loving the marker pen suggestion.
