All I ever manage is the shopping, preparing food, serving food and clearing it up. Collecting and delivering ds, dd and dh to their various commitments.
Look after dd (14 months)
Laundry.
Just about tidy the house but not properly.
Emergency cleaning when visitors come.
Should be in bed now but didn't finish all my jobs til 11.30 and want a bit of time to myself!

My sister say to FLY is the only way to go.... any encouragement gratefully received

I FLY. I am a SAHM with a 2.3yo and a 9mo. I also do Ann Summers parties so can be quite busy.
I do all the shopping, cooking, cleaning, ironing, playgroups etc etc, and I have found that FLYing and routines are the only way to go.
I used to find I could do the basic cleaning tasks, but never had the time for anything a bit more detailed.
I could never go back.
Have you looked at the FLYlady website?
She starts you off nice and easy, very simple to follow.

Established [ho hum] flyers are on Fly threads, new fliers are using Fledgling fliers thread. Both threads have links every day for the tasks and babysteps.
TBH, we are still all tired...maybe it is just the way that life goes. You are not alone.

Oh god, you are so me!

I am so frustrated that all I seem to achieve in a day is looking after 3 kids, feeding them, homeworking them, getting them clean and to bed and then rushing round making house reasonably habitable - doesnt exactly make me feel like a bonafide 50's housewife!!

so similar to our family life.
Nothing seemsto get done. it really is a vicious circle.
The flylady is a good idea as I picked up great ideas from there( i know i know I should be breaking the oldhabits and establishing new ones) but I sometimes venture to it and see what the zone is(was well impressed with myself awhile back when it was re- skirting boards---I was shocked at the state of mine behind the bed .
do try the threads I think they would help imo.
good luck
