Morning Knickers
I prefer weekdays anyway always have. Put the radio on a story on radio 4 or BBC 7 if you have DAB it makes it go faster. Yes it comes to pass that you have to listen to radio 4!

swanriver · 23/11/2009 09:59

ooh I do love corned beef hash esp with mango chutney!
STAR I am shocked at your suggestion! What an idea..go back to bed indeed..
no I meant moderately directed on the homefront.
Have cleared a bit of laundry, dug out some rubbish from dd's toy chest, ministered to ds1, and taken dd's sheets off her bed.

Now back in kitchen again doing dishes, throwing away paperwork clutter.

LOL Star.

Knickers - You're doing great. When my 2 were the gaes yours are everyday felt like a bad day . Not all day, there were lots of highs, but then plenty of lows (usually more at the end of the day so I went to bed feeling sad and guilty). Sorry I'm not cheering you up am I . It does get better though (thankfully).

Swan - have a good snuggle. its sunny here.

Today:
I've taken the kids to school and called in sick at work as yesterdays earache/sorethroat has turned into a cold and I can't face work.

To do:
watch this morning and wrap presents
have healthy lunch
read a book (I must have one somewhere lol).
Collect kids

Star/Swan and Simply I am joining you on your health kicks. I need to build a better imune system to fight off colds and make this Christmas the first one where I am not poorly. Also I need to cut out the wine .

Have a good day all.

Tea. Why feeling blue?

swan - why is dh depondent? My dh encourages me to drink (its not my fault honest0, but he doesn't seem to get hangovers like I do . Als drink makes him saucy, it just makes me sleepy .

Knickers - I love pushchairs . Except doubles (is yours a double?)

Star - I agree, I'm too old for this lark too.

MC and Grouchy - Hi.

Wrapped presents and read a book . Mustn't forget to collect kids (I suppose).

wendyhappysmile · 23/11/2009 16:05

Hey, all
Sounds like a nice day on here (except for Tea - what's up chuck?)
I've also had a nice day, pottering in the house, gradually getting tidied up from the bomb that dropped on my house yesterday a.k.a. DD's party! Party was fab though and all worthwhile.
That friend has had her chips as far as I'm concerned! She can just sing next time she asks a favour, I have plenty of friends who do appreciate me and reciprocate my friendship! (Feeling positive today, have you noticed?!)
Off to a flower arranging night at church tonight (DD's toddler group church), will be good in a genteel sort of way. Tomorrow I'm going to a medium to have my cards read etc! At a friend's house. I'm not generally into that kind of thing (bit of a skeptic) but am interested as to what she says - she was very accurate, spookily so, with several of my friends. Will let you know!

Hugs to anyone feeling broody
Just been watching Cheaper by the Dozen with dcs again...we love that film

now I have wailing ds2 (who has been ticked off for peeing on his bedroom carpet
and a dd who is determined to be bolshy
ds1 is immersed in Tintin and is refusing to read anything highbrow so dh is insisting on him listening to "boring" Morpurgo

Off to Morrisons now to escape
But all is fine! Hey we have had a good day and a nice supper of stuffed pancakes
Children have done a draft list for Father Christmas after research. No FX is not going to give you a Death Star I'm afraid.
Homework x 1 done

Star you have done pretty well to do all those things and still have a spring in your step.
Wendy, flower arranging is like baking, food for the soul. V. important. And it reminds you of the seasons too.
Simply - you must have had a tiring day.
Knickers good luck with that stairgate - always a test of skill and daring assembling the blighters.
