We need a new duvet cover etc.
In fact we need two.

Needs to be compatible with breakfast in bed - so not white

The last set I got was from next - nice but high maintenance

I have never ironed bed linen. Ever. It crumples the moment you get into bed anyway. And life is just too short.

Easy: don't iron bedlinen.

ikea do some lovely soft ones that don't iron, and jersey material ones are nice and easy i also don't own an iron

Get poly cotton, dries in half the time too. Also, get a sheila maid which you can hang from the ceiling which you then hang peg driers from instead of using a tumble drier, things don't get crumpled and so don't need ironing.

People iron bedding?

Funny thing is I always go for white when I am in fear of something (clothes etc) staining as worst case scenario you can always dab a bit of bleach on it, wash it and it comes up clean and white - and stain-free again! You can't do that with coloured clothes and bed linen, you'll always be able to see the stain (over the design). On this basis I would go definitely go for white poly cotton duvet covers such as these.

I do, however, appreciate white bedding isn't for everyone - I just like to feel as though I'm staying in a hotel, that's all (dream on.....!). Mind you, if someone is making you breakfast in bed - you must feel as though you're staying in a hotel too!!
