New Washing Machine??

We have an extended warranty on our hotpoint which broke down last night...they can't come out til Wednesday!! and even then if they have to order parts i could be without machine for a long while.

Thinking of cutting my losses and ordering a new one.

What would you recommend. I basically only use 60deg and 40 deg wash don't need lots of fancy features, and doesn't matter if its pretty looking as lives in utility room.

It has to withstand alot of use i have three messy boys and husband and invariably use at least 3 times a day!!

I have dreams of a large enough drum to wash a single duvet in, anyone know what capacity i would need for this?

We have a Bosch, which is brilliant - sturdy and has lasted quite a few years with no problems (touch wood!).

I saw one advertised recently on TV which had huge capacity, but I can't remember which one it was now ...

there's an lg one which has 11kg capacity

BUT, it is £850 and i'm not sure i'd trust lg?

My Indesit has just bitten the dust after about 7/8 years. I don't know if that's a long time for a washing machine but I'm still gutted.

I'd go for a Bosch Classix - standard size and use a laundrette if you need to wash anything larger.
But if you do want a machine (expensive) to wash duvets on a regular basis, the LG mentioned has a massive capacity

i wouldn't use it regularly but it is hard for me to get to launderette as i don't drive, then costs about £10 to wash/dry a duvet which i really begrudge!

As i do about 3 loads a day i was thinking with a larger drum i could really cut down how many times its actually in use?
