Bathroom mould

Just been cleaning our bathroom and I cannot entirely shift:

  • orange staining on grouting
  • green algae on blind (right by shower so gets soaked every day)
  • a few black spots of mould on rubber sealant round bath.

Thus proving to myself I am clearly not a grown-up yet as no grown-up would let their bathroom get in such a state. Does anyone have any tips for getting rid of any of these?

Many thanks!

the green dettol mould and mildew remover might work on 1 and 3. It isn't expensive so worth a try

oh and I asked for shower cleaning advice once (for muck marks on the tray) and was told to use a paste of non bio washing powder - it worked really well on loads of general shower grime.

Orange stains on grouting in my experience easier quicker and cheaper to re-grout - just brush off and loose grout and apply new over the top. Works a treat.

Domestos Grot Buster excellent for removing the orange staining on grouting.
I don't think there is anything that will remove the marks on sealant - you need to cut it out and reseal.
