Buy a steam cleaner or pay a professional?

Thanks to DD and also my little namesake, my rugs are decidedly grubby. I was wondering if anyone owns a steam cleaner thingy and if so can you tell me do they really work? I've seen one on JMLdirect for around £60, or would I be better off getting a professional company round?

Professional company, always. They have insurance in case something goes wrong, you won't have to store the cleaner, and the results will be far far better.

And they also do mattresses - rather useful when negotiating night training
