pen marks on school shirt! Help!

Hi
My son's school shirt has got pen marks on it. Looks like it was made with a black marker pen.

I have tried acetone (nail polish remover) and oxy stain remover to no avail.

Anyone knows how to remove this stain?

Thank you!

They don't come off. Ever.

Why schools let kids loose with black marker pens I shall never know.

It is whiteboard pen. The children are encouraged to write on little A4 sized whiteboards. It saves on paper. To do so they have to use whiteboard pens. These pens do not come out of clothing ever. (I am a TA and am covered in marks courtesy of the little darlings suddenly turning whilst holding the pen ect)

'Tis a pain!

hip now that makes sense! save on paper, ruin a shirt!

thanks for your replies ladies

Do they really have to use white board pens? I've always been convinced Crayola Washables would work. Maybe not, but I'm tempted to sneak in and test them one morning .

in any case, will have word with teacher.

Yes, very spotty shirts! And they must be the official school shirts which cost £££.

I've just been to a meeting at the school and see they use Berol dry whitboard pens. What type does your school use, cat64?

hippipotamiHasLost75lbs · 11/11/2009 15:26

We use Berol dry wipe (sorry, I know question was aimed at cat) and it definately does not come out. Sob.
Will sneak a crayola washable to school tomorrow to check for you if you wish lynette?
