I am up and dressed, as I had to collect DH from the garage.

He is giving the hall another coat of paint.

I need to do womething, but not sure what

Feeling less than brilliant today - have a chest infection , so going to do minimum today! Have taken dog and DC for romp around park, all very wet and muddy lol

Now am having 10 mins whilst dd is drawing and have resorted to letting DS2 watch Pocoyo LOL
Finally have proper internet restored so will try and catch up with you all !

jas so sorry havent posted book yet - but have it parcelled and now can get your addy so will post this afternoon - sorry !

I've had headlice trauma this morning... God they drive me nuts! (and the lotion is costing a fortune!)

luda we are also in the midst of headlice hell LOL 4 girls with thick, long, curly hair(and 2 boys also with thick hair, but one wont let me near his any more!) and headlice is a seriously bad combination LOL

Well we have teacher training day today which I didn't realise until Tuesday - I've asked DD what she wants to do today and she says that she just wants to play with her toys so that is the plan (and a quick pop to the shops) I think she has missed not having many on holiday so she has been getting every one out - even old ones.

I have two more loads of washing then I'm done (I'm never doing back to back holidays again). Today for me is catching up on studying. I have two weeks of Spanish and Sign language to catch up on, an assignment due for childcare and a new course starting on Monday so hoping DD is happy with minimal interaction from me. Then we are off to pop down towards Sheffield Arena where the fireworks display is. DD doesn't like the loud bangs but likes watching then so we go and watch from a distance (Suits me to avoid the crowds too)

Hope you all have a good day. May treat myself with a visit back if I get enough work done.

Going out to collect ds from nursery now, so it has just started raining.

Changed beds, washed bedding and hung out
Cleaned sides in kitchen
Loaded DW
Hoovered downstairs and mopped kitchen and utility floors
Wiped and mopped toilets and bathroom floors
Took clean laundry upstairs
Tidied up babies toys

Doesn't look so impressive now, but its been a busy morning!

Afternoon

The pain is easing somewhat, I am healing pretty well, had a bath and took the dressings off, it looks really neat. I have an additional 6 inch scar under right arm and 2 4inch scars op top of origional scars at the front, but much neater.

Have just had bad news re DH car, it needs work on the particale filter £600 we dont have, we are going to have to up the CC limit if they will let us to get the work done

TM glad you're healing well. Car expense is such a PITA. Our old car (the one that blew up just outside DLP!) was going to cost £1000 to fix , in the end we decidedto get a new (well old, but new to us!)one as no point throwing that much away on rubbish car. It wasonly through some very generous family members loaning us the money that we could manage to, otherwiswe we would be have been stumped. Hope you manage to get it sorted.

Well I have dropped DD at nursery, and although house a mess I am going to sit down for the afternoon. Still feelingf grim - but have dosed up with paracetamol....

Oooh Galen that sounds truly grim! I have 2 girls and one boy...and luckily their hair is quite thin. The girls are shoulder length..or maybe a touch shorter so its not too bad.
My gripe is that I have had to treat us all 3 times in the last fortnight!
I think it is DS who is bringing them home as he seems to have the worst infestation...the girls have been ok really.

EEEUUURRGGHH just makes me itch thinking about it!

I have just newked any of the blighters that might have thought about living on me...as I have just dyed my hair!
I challange any louse to survive all those stinky chemicals!

I'm approaching things more steadily and starting to feel a lot better for it. I'm a lot more relaxed too which makes a nice change I've done all my rotines and I'm finally getting ontop of the washing cycles (at last)

Batboy is flaking out on the sofa. Beavers was canceled tonight and I think he needs an early night
