How do I clean swimming hats?

Left the hats in the swimming bag whilst wet and now they have gone mouldy! Is there any way of cleaning them?

Washing machine with bio powder - 40 degrees max - do not tumble dry (obviously). In with a few towels is best (the abrasion helps).

OK thanks, will non-bio do? as don't usually buy bio powder...

Not really no, it's the biological enzymes that eat the muck. Cheap as chips value range bio powder in a small box perhaps?

thanks will have to get bio, tried non-bio today and mould spots still there!
