What's the best night light to get?

Can anyone recommend a good night light for a toddler. I would like one that he can turn on and off himself. Have seen a cool rocket one that is both a night light and a normal lamp - expensive though.

Sun jars look good for night lights, you can get moon ones(blue) and dusk ones(purpley) too.

I haven't got one myself but thought they good and they don't need to be plugged in so there'll be wires which is a good safety aspect.

We use a lava lamp but my DD is 7 so knows not to touch it, it gets quite hot, so it wouldn't be suitable for a little one.

Try the cute turtle night light from mybabyzoo.com. Any child can turn it on (just press the shell) and it does not get warm. It even has a button for high-low brightness if you like the light to be less bright. The best part is that the batteries last forever :0 as the light is not only LED but it also comes with a timer function.
