Hi any tips on what to put into washing machine after dd has beensick all over bedclothes. Is bicarbonate of soda effective or is it safe to put in a milton solution. Any tips would be appreciated

I would treat as per washable nappies:

Put them in on a rinse cycle first (you can add Dettol if you like to the drawer, pos milton if bottle says ok for washing) and then wash as normal.

Hope you're DD is feeling better now

I've had to double wash ds's bedding today. Charming job.

I've been washing at 60 as well! 6 loads done at teh weekend - poor dd1 woke from a nap thinking she had "been a bit sick mummy" - I hadn't the heart to tell her it was runny poo, she was unhappy enough (as was I having to clean it up)

We've had it from both ends here, with ds helpfully trying to clear up his poop and it making even more of a mess
