Can I use anything to correct this (apart from bleach!), and is there anything I can use to stop it happening in future?

Aggie and Kim say drop a sterilising tablet in a bucket and soak!
Worked for my grubby nets!

Ecover do a bleachlike laundry aid - does work - soak them in it and then launder. Think white vinegar in the wash, or borax is supposed to work too...

Thanks - will give both options a whirl

Vanish whitening powder and Ariel, in a 90 degree wash.

Lots of direct sunshine helps as well. Possibly not easy depending on where you are though.

I jsut did all DS' school tops in a glowhite hot wash, along with my uderwear. They have all come up 4 shades brighter white, albeit not sparkling white but a BIG improvement

Our trouble is not being able to use biological washing powder as it inflames DS' skin
