Can you do anything for mould on clothes or is it bin only?

I am so annoyed at myself, just found a lovely outfit of DS' in a plastic bag covered in mould - he got it wet and I must have put it away and forgotten about it

I think most of it is not salvageable but the dungarees have only got a little bit of mould on, is there anything I can do to remove it? I have washed a bib before which was mouldy and it didn't seem to remove it so I just threw it away. He's only worn them twice and I would love to save them if it's possible.

What do you mean by remove as much mould as possible - by scrubbing? Just with soap and water? What kind of soap? Sorry I sound like a novice Usually by the time I discover anything mouldy it's beyond saving!

Lemon juice is another alternative to vinegar or bleach. Make sure the outfit has dried out with the mould on it before you take the brush to it!
