Has anyone had professionally steam cleaned furniture

and rugs?
How good was it?

I have a couple of manky fabric sofas covered in water marks (ds2 loves to pour the remainder of his drinks all over the sofa ) and thought about getting them steam cleaned.
I also wanted the rugs done. One of them is a chinese silk one. DOes anyone know if its ok to steam clean those?

Had our sofa and wool rug cleaned a week or two back. Truely amazed at the result, was considering replacing both as they were so manky but now look as good as new, and they are both cream again!

Not sure on the silk rug but the cleaning person would be able to advise.
