Having seen two other dryers go caput - please help!
We have a combi washer/dryer (can't replace or buy a separate tumble dryer as we rent) and the dryer function hasn't worked for about 5 months. The maintenance people say that as it's not their appliance, we would have to ring up AEG to get an engineer out to fix it (no thanks).
We've been making do but I hateeeee not having a tumble dryer (I'm American ).
So - washer works fine, when we try to put the dryer on, the drum turns REALLLLLLLLLLLY slowly and makes a very very slow sad noise like it's trying to go faster but can't. There is a bit of cool air being blown out but nothing else.
Have emptied all the water from the drawer so it's not that before you ask
