I am looking for a soft reasonably priced boys single duvet cover /duvet set

Any suggestions? Ds is 2 and a half so I am not after "spider man" or anything like that. More the cute type but not babyish IYSWIM. It doesn't have to be pure cotton as it can be quite expensive, but it has to be good quality and soft.

Tesco value duvet covers and pillowcases in the Blue gingham are nice and very good quality and last for ages and ages and dont need hardly any ironing and are about £5 Tk Maxx have better brands at really good prices

I'll second tkmaxx can get 100% cotton for price of poly cotton. They had some nice gingham ones when I last looked.

I'll second tesco esp if your ds likes diggers. My ds throws a fit when I wash his digger duvet. It came with a fleece blanket too and was about £12

Thanks, are tesco ones still soft although they are this cheap? They are not the hard rigid, waxy type are they?

they are not like swansdown or anything but soon soften up when used and a flanelette top sheet folded over the top would be lovely and cozy and soft

Mine (sorry, ds's) is lovely and soft. It washes really well and dries quickly. The colours haven't faded at all. And if you really don't like them, you have not spent a fortune!

some lovely colourful ones here, and fairly cheap

The Ikea ones do go really soft after a couple of washes, and you can get a pillowcase, sheet and duvet cover set for around £6

My god the Ikea ones look amazing! 100% cotton as well! And really cheap!! Shame my nearest one is 30 miles away and they are not available to order online.

I got Ikea ones for my DS when I made my husband take me there for our wedding anniversary (mad, but just love it!)

M&S have a set for 9.50 - blue with stars, quite boyish but not overboard and not babyish. Washes well.

I agree about Ikea. Worth the trip there as it is so reasonably priced.

i love ikea but the only things i dont like about their duvet covers are they seem to be bigger than normal and never fasten always have that big space at the bottom

Bood Ikea duvet covers are designed for ikea duvets which are bigger!!!

My ikea covers fit my non-ikea duvets perfectly. Most of them now have poppers on - I did used to find the big opening was a pain but they seem to have cottoned on to that.

Mine fit no problem and I have never found the opening a problem either I have to say. I have had some years now and they wash brilliantly.

I have lovely blue white and red stripe ones from m& s which were about £9.50 or my boys. Would recommend them - lovely quality.
