Getting wee smell out of leather shoes

DS wet himself the other day while wearing his leather shoes. I sprayed Febreze on / in them but they still stink. What else can I try?

Give them a really throrough wipe with soapy water.

When they are dried out sprinkle baking powder in them in them. Leave over night then shake out - you may need to hoover it out...

Then polish shoes and they will be as good as new.

Thanks for the tip. I'm in the process of trying it at the moment - the biggest problem seems to be the insole, which is taking ages to dry, and also smells really bad. I'm really hoping it gets better soon!
