How do I get clean off / get rid of mould from the back of the wardrobe?

I've just realised that the wardrobe in DS's room is caked in mould at the back, on the outside? What's the best way to clean this off? Bleach? We also have it on the back of a bookcase in the kitchen. Argh.

Milton fluid is a mild bleach which works on this.
