Pollen stain on lovely cream painted wooden table - please help!!!

What do I do? There are quite a few of them, and am so gutted as I waited ages to buy this table and I love it!

So far have just wiped off the excess pollen with kitchen roll - daren't do anything else until I know what to do...

Am trying to stay calm........... (Discovering the cat has jumped up onto it and managed to make three claw marks on the edge is not helping)

don't rub it.
Use selotape to get rid of as much as possible.

Sit the table by the window in direct sunlight and the stains should fade completely after a bit of exposure ( a few weeks)

Will try Sellotape now, thanks!!!
