What Tog Duvet For a Four Year Old In Winter??

DS1 has a 4.5 tog duvet at the moment and he had it through last winter with just an extra blanket it if it was particularly cold.

Should I be thinking about getting a higher tog this winter or is he still too young??

just got a 7 tog one for dd last week - as recommended by John Lewis.

Ah didn't realise you could get 7 tog thought the next one up was 10.5 which seemed a bit too heavy. Thanks Squeaver!

The Fine Bedding Company also do a 7 tog duvet especially for children.

My ds is 8 and still sleeping in pyjamas with just a sheet He MAY think about his duvet in the next month

DD who is 5 however thinks her 4.5 tog duvet is too cold and insists on blankets as well

I am confused

I'vwe just realised that the 7 tog duvet (to which I have posted a link above) is only available as a cot bed duvet and not as a single duvet - Oops.

These hypoallergenic duvets are available as 6 tog duvets, though.

my 4.5 yr old had a 4.5 tog. he gets really really hot.
we just put extra blankets on if necessary

Argos have got 4.5, 7 and 10.5 duvets in single size which are nice enough - we have got the hypoallergenic one which is NOISY! I would definately spend less next time and get a quieter allergenic one
