Removing stains from wood floor

Have dark stain on wood floor, don't know what it is, could be grease or wine! Any tips for getting stain out as nothing seems to work so far. TIA

I use Cif on stains throughout the house - also for wooden floor.

If it's an oiled wood floor, try rubbing a little bit of linseed oil over the stain with a soft cloth / kitchen roll. It's good for shifting general muck, dust & grime off a wood floor. It also shifts milk & baby-vomit stains. Don't know about grease or wine though.
