....smell in leather couches?

Started this thread in Chat but then thought maybe putting it in good housekeeping might get more replies!

Got leather couches from someone I know recently. Under 2 yrs old, in great condition apart from the smell of smoke on them.

Does anybody have any ideas of how to get rid of the smell?

Thanks!

Hmmm, the only thing I can think of is saddle soap

I think you can buy it in B&Q - I have had mine for ever and ever so not sure where I got it from

There is some for sale her ebay

Its basically for cleaning saddles and tack and stuff, but I am not a horse rider!!

Leave a few chopped in half onions on them (skin still on so not actually touching leather) onions absorb smells, just like they do in cooking and you will notice th onions change and seperate as they absorb the smell.
