How do I get glue off my favourite dress

So, I squirted glue from a glue gun all over my favourite dress. Have tried freezing it and washing it twice. Any other ideas.

What sort of glue is that.
Have you tried googling

Have you tried a really hot hairdryer aimed at it? then dab off with something? Or perhaps a hot iron and some brown paper?

These are just guesses though- you need to heat the glue to make it liquid again, as it is basically melted plastic.
