New pillows - any recommendations?

As I spend a lot of time hiding out in my bedroom to avoid my rodent problem (see other post), I have become aware that my pillows are terrible. Thin and lumpy. I'd like to buy some new ones, any recommendations?

cookiemonstress we have same problem. Hope somebody offers recommendations.

my favourite pillows are dunlopillo latex pillows. i have tried memory foam ones but didn't like them, the dunlopillo ones are soft yet supportive, and they don't lose their shape. there are a few different levels of softness/support to choose from.

they are much more pricey to buy than the standard hollow fibre ones but i have found it worth it - i found the hollow fibre ones went lumpy and/or flat very quickly, it seemed like i was replacing them every five minutes.

latex is also good for anyone suffering from asthma or allergies as it is meant to be naturally dust mite resistant.

I got the one up from basic john lewis non feather ones and they are fab

We too have a rodent problem - but haven't caught one in a week now - so things starting to look a lot more positive!

On the pillow front, I like to sleep on just one really soft goose down pillow, whereas my husband prefers two pillows to prop up his head (what with his shoulders being that bit wider than mine - thankfully it's not the other way round!). He also has a soft down pillow with a firmer feather pillow below, doing the 'propping'.

For my boys I went for the hypoallergenic pillow option of these children's pillows, not because my children have loads of allergies or anything, just because I wanted to be able to wash them whenever I want/need to, without it being too much of a drama taking them to the launderette etc. Anyway, they are brilliant - really soft, and aren't at all lumpy as are filled with soft little clusters and so you can plump them up just like a down pillow.
