I got a huge spider earlier YUk. I may leave dh to empty the hoover bag
And a TON of glitter and sequins after a box full of the stuff tipped over and none of the dds were willing to use a dustpan and brush on to rescue it
It'll be a sparkly scary bag at emptying time

PuppyMonkey · 27/08/2009 12:47

I got about three hair bobbles when i did it just now...

Spiders die in the hoovering process, i have been assured!!!

MarmadukeScarlet · 27/08/2009 12:51

PitysSake · 27/08/2009 12:51

So far:

socks,
DD1 gold earrings
coins
spiders (I then let the hoover on for 15m to make sure the poor thing is killed!)Ifyoudonolikeboden, It sounds very mean to hoover spiders but I have such a phobia of them there would be no way I would free them. To my defence I only hoover them when I am alone at home, when DH and DC are there, theyusually take them out of the house and free them.
Magnetix(makes a hell of a noise)

ZZZenAgain · 27/08/2009 13:14

friend of mine hoovered up her hamster

dunno if it survived, they have a low mortality rate in her house. Bit odd.

I hoovered up my watch by mistake once, generally good at getting stray sox too

random · 27/08/2009 13:15

unluckyfriedkitten · 28/08/2009 11:22

Lego, Lego and more Lego. I've taken to emptying the dyson every time I use it to make it easier to fish the blasted stuff out.

brimfull · 28/08/2009 11:23

stones

dd sodding hairclips keep getting stuck though

MmeLindt · 28/08/2009 11:23

Socks

Bits of DS's stupid playmobile that he never plays with, just scatters around the playroom.

I was too lazy to pick them up and put them away

bumbling · 28/08/2009 11:28

Ahem. Dried cat sick.

brimfull · 28/08/2009 11:28

BlueKangerooWonders · 28/08/2009 11:29

long silk scarf yesterday - I looked like a 3rd rate magician trying to get it back out (pity I didn't think of turning the damn thing off!)

MmeLindt · 28/08/2009 11:31

ggirl
You are welcome. Glad you like them. Is this weekend the party?

SpawnChorus · 28/08/2009 11:33

I hoovered up a mystery thing in my bedroom yesterday. It sounded quite chunky and important, but I couldn't be arsed to fish through the bag of dead spiders

brimfull · 28/08/2009 11:41

MmeLindt-yes on sunday
Have just done a massive shop for it.

leisurely · 29/08/2009 08:02

Not me, but a friend disposed of a pile of dog poo when house sitting.

BubbaAndBump · 29/08/2009 08:30

What is this hoovering business you're all talking about?

NoGoodNicknamesLeft · 29/08/2009 08:38

today, lots of pink salt from a drunken accident with dh's wine glass. dh then goes on to complain about dd dropping food on the carpet!!! pot, kettle!
