What do you use?

What can you recommend for when I go shopping?

What is rubbish?

I use Cif and cillit bang.

MrsBadger · 24/08/2009 15:42

we have awful hard water so I like the LimeLite spray

FabBakerGirlIsBack · 24/08/2009 15:44

We have hard water too and DH uses LimeLite on the taps. Is it suitable to clean the sink and bath too?

not the evil corrosive stuff in the bottle, they do a spray too
[rummages]
this one

Overmydeadbody · 24/08/2009 15:50

I thought you needed to clean the bathroom right now with nothgin, so was going to suggest all sorts of make-do things to substitute to clean with

Drusilla · 24/08/2009 15:52

Bath Power is much better than Limelite for really hard water IME

FlightHattendant · 24/08/2009 15:55

I was going to start a thread about toilet brushes.

I am on the point of buying
disposable ones

Is it Ok if I throw that in with your thread please Fab?

FlightHattendant · 24/08/2009 15:56

Btw I just wipe round the bath after each bath, shower it down a bit of grubby. Nothing else needed.

Oust spray used to be good but they stopped it - basiclaly anti limescale stuff. Mr Muscle do one in a spray, use it once in a while.

Also any standard spray with 5% bleach for dodgy bits, and normal spray for everything else.

FlightHattendant · 24/08/2009 15:57

IF not of

FabBakerGirlIsBack · 24/08/2009 15:59

No, it isn t okay Flight. Loo brushes are evil.

I did need to clean the bathroom now but I improvised.

I use the method stuff. It's a bit pricey but it smells really nice and isn't too nasty chemical wise (or am I totally confused??)

Have recently succumbed to that toilet duck fresh brush dooberry though, the toilet brush thing was just a bit too boaky.

FabBakerGirlIsBack · 24/08/2009 18:08

I might try the Method stuff. I buy ecover when I don't use a lot of it - couldn't afford ecover detergent for the washer or the dishwasher.
