We are in the middle of refurbing our new home and we had to have the crapets laid even though we are still doing work in the house. The carpets are covered so we thought it'd be fine.
However, DP just took a radiator of a wall and not expecting it to drip (!!!!) took it across the crapet where of course it has seeped through the protection we have down.
The stain is black and has come from the radiator so not sure what it actually is, but it's liquid like no blobby bits etc. How best do I clean this; rubbing at it with plain water has made the crapet go fuzzy and blotting at it does nothing. The carpet is mostly wool and is short pile.
HELP!!!!
